The Scientific Rabbit is all about Volkswagen (engine, & all thinks that make a car go..) Science. There are a few car manufactures that produce cars that are built to perform at a cost. Most other cars are manufactured with the balance of mass production and modest performance. This site is devoted to understand how to take a inexpensive modest performing VW and transforming it into a high performance car.
Many of the VW community Internet websites are places to ask questions and chat with other car owners, but they lack the ability to be an easy to use body of knowledge. The Scientific Rabbit Wiki is not a place to chat or ask other people questions, but a place to read about how to work on different parts of your car, a place to share with others a repair/modification/replacement/rebuild procedure. All in a well organized way, where the content you are looking for is not lost in a discussion held months or years ago or even a site that doesn't exist anymore.
A Wiki is the interactive web- where you can add or change content. If you have questions and get stuck using the Wiki Check out the Help pages or the webmaster at the scientificrabbit. There is limited content right now because I added it :) If you have posted a engine swap, a how to/DIY in a online forum such as vwvortex consider reposting here so I can be easily used and found by your self and others.
